Loagan Bunut National Park

Loagan Bunut is the name given by the Berawan people to Sarawak's largest natural lake. Mainly covered by peat swamp, this lake's unique feature is that it disappears during drought season. The shallow lake usually drains completely when the water in the nearby Tinjar river is low, and as the water level subsides, the vibrant wildlife inhibiting the surrounding peat forest begin to emerge. There are many activities that can be done at this lake, and with its breathtaking scenery and vibrant forest life, Loagan Bunut National Park is definitely a haven for nature lovers.
