14 November, 2012 - Sarawak Tourism Board is pleased to have sponsored the British Guild of Travel Writers 2012 “Best Travel Photographer” Award, held at the Savoy Hotel in London. The Award was made to Mr Tom Bird and was received on Mr Bird’s behalf by the Chairman of the British Guild of Travel Writers, Mr Roger Bray. Sarawak Tourism Board’s Regional Marketing Manager (UK & Europe), Mr Maurice Balang, presented the Award in London. The Award Winner, Mr Tom Bird, will be invited to Sarawak in 2013 to take a series of photographs to portray the natural beauty of Sarawak.
