The vast expanse of the lake offers a picturesque landscape as myriad as the legends of the area. The floating house-stay (locally known as ‘Jelatong’) product is curently served by an operator offering a 4-room accommodation (max 4 to a room) that comes complete with fresh water supply. If it is that unique adventure experience that you seek, then this place will give you plenty. The river nearby has a swimming hole and a natural massage experience to soothe weary body after a lengthy hike up the river. The confluence of cold mountain water and warm lake water creates a unique dipping experience at the river mouth. Being surrounded by water, floating in the calm warm lake water at dusk can be a surreal experience. Sitting around the barbeque fire, trading experiences and stories into the still of the night completes this experience.
