Matang Wildlife Centre, which is part of Kubah National Park, houses endangered wildlife in large enclosed areas of the rainforest or in spacious cages. The main attraction of the centre is the orangutan adoption programme, where young orangutans, who were either orphaned or rescued from captivity, are taught how to survive in the wild.
