This bridge, which is still visible till today, was erected across the Sadong River in Serian. Serian was also one of the four districts in Samarahan Division, and was declared a division in 2015.
Climate
Serian has a temperate tropical climate, with temperatures ranging between 23°C and 31°C. Visitors to Serian can take note that the weather in May will be warmer while the cooler temperature can be felt in January. The town also experiences significant rainfall throughout the year.
